Photocopiers and Scanners

Photocopiers are available to visitors in all university libraries. Copies can be made for $0.10 per page if paying cash. Stand-alone scanners offer a free service to all users with the choice to email a PDF as an attachment or save a document to a removable flash drive. Please ask at the service desk for copier locations.

Other Local Libraries and Collections

The Nashville metro area is rich in university and college representation, with most libraries opening their doors to and welcoming visitors. Some campus libraries in the midtown and downtown areas include:

Downtown is also home to the rich collections of the Nashville Public Library and the Tennessee State Library and Archives.

Visitor Services

There are nine libraries at Vanderbilt University with holdings to support research in a wide variety of subjects. Visitors are welcome to browse the open book stacks, to use a breadth of electronic journals and books, newspapers and periodicals, and to use government documents. The library's online catalog is freely available, but some digital resources are restricted to the Vanderbilt community.
