Student Services @ Law

The Law Library, a division of the Jean and Alexander Heard Library of Vanderbilt University, supports the Vanderbilt University Law School curriculum and the research interests of our faculty and students. As a division of Vanderbilt University's Heard Library, the Law Library also provides access to a broad range of non-legal resources, including business, science, and medical publications. The Law Library is open to the local bar as well as to the general public.

Find What You Need

Students use library materials and study spaces, but the library staff are the best kept secret. Vanderbilt librarians select databases, books, journals and other resources to help you with your coursework and research assignments. Should you have any questions about the library, please stop at one of the service desks or use our online Ask Us service for assistance and support.

Can't find it in our catalogs? Submit a purchase request, or use Interlibrary Loan to borrow from libraries across the globe.

Finding Items on Reserve

To find print reserves in a campus library search the Acorn catalog by instructor, course name or course number.

To find electronic reserves login to Blackboard. E-reserves for your course are listed under the e-reserves content area.
