Alan M Birnbaum, MD VUSM '75

No one ever told ME when I took Biochemistry at VUSM circa 1971-72 that his daughter Carolyn was the main muse of the Beat Generation, and as such depicted in Jack Kerouac's ON THE ROAD! Aah, faculty daughters! She was better known as Carolyn Cassady; See her obituary in the San Francisco Chronicle 9/30/2013. Alas I NOT think I got a photo of Dr Robinson for the 1975 Centenniel yearbook I did.
